Professional, friendly staff. They weren't overly harsh with cleaning. Dentist was also fun to talk to. Very chill and efficient office.

Dr Donoghue made time in his schedule to look at a tooth that has been causing me pain. He was courteous, kind and attentive to details. An infection under a crown from another Dentist was causing the pain. We’re attacking the infection with antibiotics so he can investigate the tooth further. Great Dentist!

The entire staff is warm, welcoming and most importantly so good at what they do! For someone, like me, who has a lot of trauma with dentists Sandia Peak Dental is such a gift.

The office has an amazing view of the mountains and welcoming waiting room, with comfortable chairs. The staff are very kind, considerate, knowledgeable, and caring they engage with their patients and truly care about dental health. I have never experienced quality dental care as the care at Sandia Peek. Definitely recommend!

Friendly staff. Honest assessment of my dental health, offering options for treatment. I was told by another dental office that I needed a certain procedure, but Sandia Peak Dental informed me I didn't need it. I felt I received honest, professional advice from Sandia Dental, and, believe it or not I had a fun time. It's not often you see "fun" and "dentist's office " in the same sentence.

Going to the dentist has become a calming, easy, and yes -fun- thing to do! I have been treated poorly by dentists in the past, at other offices I've visited throughout my life. Because of those previous experiences, I didn't go for a long time, and as time went by I got more and more anxiety over going back. Perhaps you can relate! The first time Edith got to work on my teeth, I was met with the warmest, kindest, most patient hygienist I have ever encountered, and I am grateful to have found her and this practice. I dealt with zero judgement, unnecessary pain, or any of the things that had made me so afraid and self conscious before. I actually look forward to going to the dentist now ... and how many people will say that? 🙂 Thank you Edith, you are the best!

My first dental visit since before COVID. Just moved to town, and am so glad I found this place!!!! Nice environment, staff very nice!!! Edith did a great job of doing my cleaning and did great education. Not so fun fact- New Mexico doesn’t have fluoride in the water! Anyway, very nice place and definitely recommend to others!

Last year, our dentist Dr.Mackiw, decided to retire. He advised us that Sandia Peak Dental would be taking over. We considered looking for another practice closer to home. I decided I would give them a try first... so glad I did!!! Our dentist and all the staff are so friendly and kind. They listen and answer all of one's questions. They offer more services and don't hurry you out the door. I have never been to a more caring dental office! The dentist and staff are wonderful!!! The drive from Rio Rancho is so worth it. I recommend this practice.

The finest dental service I have ever received! The office is beautiful, clean and modern. The staff is professional, friendly and attentive. I went here because my previous dentist had retired and I'm so thankful that new staff is here now. Edith, is the BEST hygeniest I have been to in all my years. She is extremely dedicated to providing the best for her patients. I had a deep cleaning and was expecting a good deal of pain during and after while healing. Neither was the case. She asked me during the whole procedure to let her know if I needed her to stop or if I needed more numbing. She is just the BEST! So thankful this practice is here in Albuquerque! Two thumbs up! Highly recommend! Second Visit Review: So thankful for Dr. Donoghue and his team at Sandia Peak Dental. I have been twice and both times I was greeted warmly and professionally. Edith is wonderful and attentive and gave my teeth a MUCH needed deep cleaning, asking me along the way if I was doing ok and to let her know if I was feeling any pain. I am happy to report that I did not and my gums have never been healthier. Dr. Donoghue and his technician Jesse filled a pretty large cavity that took awhile to drill out, clean up and fill (the proverbial archaeological dig). Again, no pain! I can honestly say that my experience at Sandia Peak Dental is the very best care I've gotten here in New Mexico or on the east coast for that matter. They are experienced, skillful while being warm and friendly (and have a great comedy routine I might add). Dental procedures can be stressful, but they take the fear out of it! The facility is in a gorgeous location and is clean and modern. The big screen with the amazing views of our beautiful Earth along with the comfortable chair was an extra plus! Thank you, Dr. Donoghue, Edith and Jesse! I am so grateful for your care and I've told everyone I know! See you again in a few months.

I highly recommend Sandia Peak Dental. On my recent prophy, the Hygienist was gentle and thorough. About the same time, I needed a crown for an upper second molar. Dr. Donoghue was extra careful to ensure that the crown was perfectly aligned with the adjacent implant tooth. That should keep food from lodging between the two teeth and then causing decay.

If I could them 10 stars I would! From the beginning Edith and Dr. Jansen make you feel like family. The experience was positive and easy going for me getting: X-rays, and a cleaning. Dr Jansen is humble and intelligent yet with a sense of humor. He is an expert in his field. Edith knows her stuff as well and is very knowledgeable if any questions should arise. I’ve rebooked for another cleaning in 6 months.

Great new dentist taking over for my old dentist. Dr Donohue is doing a great job and offering tons of services for your teeth. I cannot recommend them enough. I go for my 6 moths cleanings and their dental hygienist is very cautious and gentle. Call and get on their schedule. Great family dentist.

4th Visit: Excellent, very capable, and very friendly dental office! This was my fourth time at Sandia Peak Dental and, like previous visits, I totally looked forward to it. Getting a cleaning by Edith is like going to a spa at your best friend's house - very relaxing and with great conversation. Also, Dr. Donahue is very friendly and helpful in answering all of my questions and suggesting dental options. Today I had a great visit to Sandia Peak dental. Edith was very gentle with my sensitive teeth and gum. Dr. Donoghue and Edith made my first visit a very pleasant. I do miss Dr. Mackiw and his wife who had this practice previously but I think Dr. Donoghue is a great successor to Dr. Mackiw. I highly recommend Sandia Peak Dental. FYI Dr. Mackiw was a very honest and knowledgeable dentist.

Was made to feel comfortable right away and I have a fear of the dentist! The Dr. Donoghue and hygienist (Edith) are very professional and know exactly what they are doing and do a excellent job! I would recommend them for dental cleaning and if you need teeth pulled, or partials or dentures made because thats all the things they have done for me and I had no pain, and everything was explained at every step! 😊👍🏻😷

I saw Dr. Donoghue recently for a second opinion. He is very caring, listens to and hears your concerns. He gave me several options and explained each one in great detail. Nice energetic young couple bought the practice from my previous dentist who retired. Very good re: following Covid safety protocols. Dental hygienist did a very thorough but gentle job on my teeth cleaning. Dentist seems very knowledgeable. Nice touch with a warm face towel at the end of session before going back into the world. Yesterday my hygienist did an amazing job working on my teeth . The previous offices ( before new dentist took over recently) hygienist did such a poor job cleaning my teeth that she had polished tartar into my teeth . Edith took great time and effort to fix the previous poor job. Thank you for the extra effort . Okay I absolutely LOVE this dentist! I am always apprehensive when going to a new dentist but this place quickly exceeded my expectations. Not only is everyone there incredibly kind and professional they are so exceptional at their job. They are patient, informative, and take the time to answer any questions. They explain everything you need to know in detail while being easy to understand and straight to the point. As well as that this place is doing a wonderful job with Covid safety protocols, I felt very comfortable and not at immediate risk in this establishment. EMERGENCY READINESS!! I have a elderly friend that just couldn’t take it any longer with her painful teeth - chemotherapy kept her away and I tried calling every dentist near her home without any result or call back from not one! Thought i would have to take her to the emergency room for relief when I thought I would try my own “new” dentist and they took her right away and with great results!! They are the best!! Would recommend highly!!

I had a crown come off my tooth yesterday and was worried about having dental work done during the pandemic. Sandia Peaks Dental staff are very caring, they listened attentively to my needs and scheduled my appointment right away. This was my first visit, but Dr. Donoghues staff made me feel relaxed and like I was among family. Edith explained that patient safety and care is their primary concern. Dr. Donoghue is an excellent dentist, he explained my options and is very professional. I would highly recommend them to family and friends.
